On this Wednesday morning the Medellin Metro rreports delay in its operations. At the San Antonio station they had to evacuate a train. Network users report difficulties accessing stations.
“Due to the evacuation of a train at the San Antonio station there are some delays in the service. We are setting up booster trains and working on frequency regulation. We appreciate your understanding,” the Metro reported around 6:04 a.m. on Wednesday, October 5.
Users, for their part, shared photographs in which they can be seen the inability to enter to stations like Bello. “Any delays? You can not enter “, reported Catalina Muñetón.
At Ticentenario, a user reported around 6:08 am that the service had been suspended for 15 minutes. The entity indicated at the same time that “All our lines are providing commercial service and we are working on regulating the frequencies of Line A.”
Another train evacuated at 6:42 a.m.
Added to the delays on Line A due to the situation in San Antonio was the difficulty with a train at the Tricentenario station. Around 6:42 a.m. the Metro reported that one of the users misused the emergency lever and that therefore the train had to be evacuated.
“We should evacuate a train in Tricentenario due to improper use of a blue lever by a user”, indicated the transport system.
