After several months of waiting, Samsung has finally launched its range of Bespoke refrigerators, modular and customizable at will. The RB34A6B0EAP handset is a gateway to this series where design is at the heart of the issues for the Korean giant.
Samsung’s promise not to compromise technically for the benefit of design is kept. The Bespoke RB34A6B0EAP handset brings together the very best: customizable and modular finishes, rapid and homogeneous cooling thanks to ventilated cold, moderate power consumption and sound level. Our comparison has a new benchmark.
Points forts
- Design and quality of finishes.
- Rapid temperature drop.
- Space optimization.
- Moderate power consumption.
- Froid No Frost.
Weak points
- No cover in the door shelves.
NB: The reported price drop is calculated by comparing the lowest price of the day with the average of the lowest prices charged by all merchants for the product last month, with security rules to exclude prices from shops whose the VAT policy is not clear (known as “grey” shops, typically in the case of imports from China).
An alternative
The Schneider SCCB250V is one of the cheapest vintage refrigerators on the market and totally recommendable. Its retro look is enticing, the finishes are neat, its cooling and freezing performance is quite acceptable and its power consumption is moderate. Small downside: the static cold does not prevent the formation of frost in the freezer and has difficulty stabilizing the temperature in the cavity – within a range which remains however acceptable.
