Books – Mohamed Abdel Nasser:
Dr. Manar Ghanem, a member of the media center at the Meteorological Authority, said that the temperatures began to improve and gradually decline following the great rises that occurred last week, pointing out that the temperature drops from today by two degrees on most areas, especially the northern coasts to Cairo and northern Upper Egypt.
Ghanem added to Masrawy that the temperature remains high in southern Upper Egypt, where it records 40 to 41 degrees, but the temperature in Cairo until the end of the week is 30 to 29 degrees, and the northern coasts are between 29 and 27 degrees.
And she continued: “The country is affected by air masses coming from the Mediterranean and southwestern Europe, and these masses are moderate in their temperatures, in addition to being affected by the extension of an air depression in the upper layers of the atmosphere that multiplies low and medium clouds throughout the day, which blocks part of the sun’s rays and limits We feel the drop in temperature.”
She pointed out that the weather during the daytime is hot on the northern coasts, Lower Egypt and Greater Cairo, even the governorates of North Upper Egypt and South Sinai, very hot on the governorates of southern Upper Egypt.
She explained that with the absence of sunlight and during the night periods, we notice a decrease in temperatures, especially in the late hours of the night and early morning, as we begin to gradually feel some coldness at those times, especially with lower temperatures and the presence of wind activity.
