I focused on femininity and streetwear… Here’s the Givenchy Spring/Summer 2023 collection (video)

Givenchy designer Matthew Williams, in his Spring-Summer 2023 collection, which was shown Sunday in Paris in the rain, focused on femininity requirements that were embodied in high-heeled shoes and narrow and pleated dresses.

The two sister models, Bella and Gigi Hadid, walked on the cork platform that was held outdoors in the “Botanical Garden” or the Jardin des Plantes in denim clothes, the first wearing a bodice and a long skirt, while the second wore a jacket and a long skirt as well.

Through this, Williams expressed his penchant for streetwear, who introduced into the designs of the French luxury fashion house nails, chains and clogs called “Marshmallow” of black rubber, made using the latest technology usually reserved for men’s high-performance shoes.

In a completely different style, Bella Hadid wore lace-up stockings, while Gigi appeared in high heels for pointed shoes, according to Agence France-Presse.

Pair Bermuda shorts and cargo pants with romantic, sheer ruffled tops or with woven jackets.

But it was noticed that the dresses were the star of this group, which are silver or embroidered with pearls and attached to the body, and some of them are short or long.

The long, sky blue dresses show off the built-in lingerie, while the red ones feature a low cut or stripes on the back.

Some of these dresses are worn with long gloves, evoking the elegant and cinematic outfits that founder Hubert de Givenchy created for British actress Audrey Hepburn.
