Twitch: xQc sniffs Pokimane’s chair…

It’s hard to miss them when you’re interested in the world of English-language streaming: xQc (streamer who was robbed of his place as the streamer with the most subscribers) and Pokimane are both part of the gratin of the Amazon platform. So inevitably, when a case concerns both, difficult to ignore on the Internet. Especially since the last one that binds them is more or less crazy. First of all, you should know that the Canadian streamer is a fan of react videos: a type of video that involves reacting to content, often televised, whether on Twitch or Youtube.

One of his last streams, which took place on September 29, is no exception to the rule. Before playing FIFA 23, he proceeds to a traditional react of different videos on the Internet, whether on Twitch or Youtube and tries to watch live videos of famous streamers. Pokimane was also live that day, but took a break leaving her chair empty. In response to a dog emoji posted multiple times on the chathe started sniffing the streamer’s chair indirectly:

She reacts in disgust and wonders

An act that has obviously not been forgotten by the Internet, which hastened to remind Pokimane. So she herself reacted to xQc’s react by commenting directly on what happened… before quickly moving on.

Ewwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww. His nostrils open so wide?

Apparently, xQc’s initiative does not seem to have shocked Pokimane but part of the community: it was the subject of a big topic (1200 comments in a few hours) on the Reddit social network. The comments most “appreciated” underline their incomprehension:

I find it hard to think of any profession other than streaming where you can do stuff like that without getting fired for being weird.

I’ve heard it said before, but many fans don’t realize how much they would despise their favorite streamer if it was Joe Blo down the street.
