It really is a testament to genius The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild We are still discovering new mechanics in the game following five years. One such detail that has gone unnoticed all this time was recently brought to our attention by The game has been reinventedThis relates to the order in which the three dragons in the game drop their valuables.
Anyone who’s spent enough hours in Breath of the Wild (and we think that’s most of you) will know the art of breeding dragon items. Soaring through the sky through a rising game as this sparkling piano captures the score – it’s one of the game’s most magical moments. Of course, shooting arrows at flying dragons gives you a number of rewards depending on where you hit – size, claw, horn or tusk.
However, it is not that simple. As shown in the video above from Gaming Reinvented, the first arrow that hits a dragon will always produce a ladder as a reward, no matter where you hit it. Are you aiming for a denaral horn? Ladder. Farrow’s fang? Ladder. Claws Nidra – Well, you got the picture.
But why is Nintendo doing this? and if you were truly Want to upgrade your required armor and horns? The answer seems to be very simple. There are three shrines hidden throughout Breath of the Wild’s Hyrule that require a dragon scale to enter (Gitan Sami Shrine, Totsuwa Nima Shrine, and Kata Chai Shrine). By making sure that each dragon will drop a scale as its first item by default, the game ensures that each of these shrines can be accessed with minimal hassle on Link’s part – how nice!
Of course, once you make that first step, the dragon breeding activity is unlocked and you can load fangs, claws, and horns to your heart’s content. We’re sure the dragon probably wouldn’t care.
