As the second edition of the Legends League Cricket, where legendary players are lining up, is progressing, cricket lovers are witnessing the excellent performances of players including Sachin Tendulkar. Former Indian player Yusuf Pathan and Australian legend Mitchell Johnson clashed in Sunday’s match between Bilwara Kings and India Capitals.
Bilwara Kings star Yusuf Pathan can be seen walking angrily towards Mitchell Johnson who came to bowl for the Capitals while batting. But when he got close, Mitchell pushed Pathan away. The umpire intervened and pushed the players back. The teammates of both teams are also there. The match was played at the Barakatullah Khan Stadium in Jodhpur.
Meanwhile, the organizers have told news agency IANS that they are considering banning Mitchell Johnson from a match for misconduct. In the match, Gautam Gambhir-led India Capitals defeated Irfan Pathan-led Bilwara Kings by four wickets with three balls to spare.
Bilwara scored 226 runs in 20 overs on the strength of half-centuries from William Porterfield (59) and Shane Watson (65). In the match, Yusuf Pathan scored 48 runs off 24 balls with four sixes and three fours. Dwayne Smith caught Mitchell Johnson’s ball and got out. Rajesh Bishnoi scored 36 runs off 11 balls including five fours and two sixes.
In reply, Capitals achieved victory on the strength of Ross Tyler and Ashley Nurse’s half-centuries. Tyler scored 84 off 39 balls with five sixes and nine fours. Nurse scored 60 runs off 28 balls with five fours and four sixes.
