DUBAI, October 3 / WAM/ The Dubai Chamber of Commerce discussed the challenges with the owners of used car showrooms, the opportunities in the used car market, the challenges and concerns faced by the owners of used car showrooms, and how to unite efforts to come up with innovative solutions to enhance the sector’s competitiveness and its ability to serve customer requirements efficiently. In addition to discussing opportunities to support the sector and enhance its contribution to economic growth, coordinate joint efforts and set priorities for the future period.
This came during the meeting of the two parties at the Chamber’s headquarters, in the presence of Mohammed Khalid bin Suleiman, Director of Business Relations Department at Dubai Chambers, and Saeed Balrakad Al Ketbi, Chairman of the Working Group of Owners of Used Car Showrooms, accompanied by a number of members of the working group’s board of directors and employees of the Dubai Chamber of Commerce.
Bin Sulaiman pointed out that the meeting highlighted a number of changes taking place in the used car market, the importance of keeping pace with the growth in demand for used cars, and working to overcome obstacles to serve the interests of the private sector and raise the competitiveness of the used car sector.
According to a study conducted by Frost & Sullivan, 3.5 used cars are purchased in the UAE for every new car sold, with expectations that in 2025 the ratio will reach 2.5 used cars for every new car purchased.
