The analysis of Daniel Jadue after participating as “observer and companion” in the presidential elections in Brazil

The mayor of Recoleta, Daniel Jadueconducted an analysis of the first presidential round in Brazil, who gave to Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva 48.34% of the preferences versus 43.27% of the votes of the current president, Jair Bolsonaro, with 99.35% of the tables counted.

The communal authority arrived in Brazil this Sunday, invited by the Sao Paulo Forum and groups close to Lula, to participate as an “observer and companion” in the presidential elections.

With the results consolidated, Jadue said that the day was a “great celebration of democracy in Brazil”, highlighting Lula’s more than five point advantage over Bolsonaro “despite having split the electoral counts eight points down.”

According to Jadue, the difference in favor of the current Head of State in the first calculations delivered by the Supreme Electoral Court of Brazil “It seems to be an obvious manipulation (…) to generate a rarefied environment at first, and it was normalized as the count progressed.”

Looking ahead to the ballot on October 30, Jadue said that Da Silva “undoubtedly has the first option.”

“The votes are shuffled and it is much more difficult for Bolsonaro to overcome a difference of more than seven points. Lula only lacks 1.5 (points) considering that the sum of the other leftist candidates exceeds 4% or 5% of the votes”, he added.

The member of the Communist Party praised the electoral process this Sunday, pointing out that “Brazil has given a great demonstration of a fairly normal civic party, there are no major problems and there were no reports of irregularities.”

According to Jadue, with Lula’s eventual victory, a period in which, he affirms, they sought to end his political career is over.

“We are 30 days away from defining the President of the older brother of Latin America, who look once more following a period of political persecution, of trying to politically annihilate one of the great leaders of this country, and today we have him back and with the first option of being President of this great country”ended.
