Russia has been defeated in battles, such as Ukraine recapturing Donetsk’s key city of ‘Leeman’ within one day of annexation declaration, but Russia is speeding up the annexation process.
NATO secretary-general warned Putin regarding the possibility of using tactical nuclear weapons.

After Russian President Putin signed a territorial annexation plan for four occupied territories in southeastern Ukraine, this time the Russian Constitutional Court ruled that the treaty was constitutional.
It has been five days since the vote on the annexation of the Kherson, Zaporiza, Donetsk and Luhansk regions.

“After ratification, the territorial annexation will finally be included in the text of our constitution, and then we will have 89 regions, 89 entities.”
Now, the legal process to complete the territorial annexation remains only with the approval of the Senate and House of Representatives and the final signature of the President.
It is expected that the rest of the procedure will proceed quickly today or between sand.
When Crimea became part of Russia in 2014, all procedures were completed six days following the referendum.
Ukraine recaptured ‘Leeman’, a transportation hub in Donetsk, just one day following annexation was declared, but Russia hastened the annexation of the territory regardless of it.
Lehman is located 160 km southeast of Kharkiv, Ukraine’s second largest city, and Ukrainian forces are besieging Lehman and putting pressure on Russian forces.
Growing fears that Russia might use tactical nuclear weapons to quell internal dissatisfaction and subsequent defeats;
NATO Secretary-General Jens Stoltenberg said, “Putin’s nuclear threat is very dangerous and careless.”
