Benzema recovered from his injury and returned to training
Real Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti confirmed that French star Karim Benzema will play the match once morest Osasuna, today, Sunday, in the seventh stage of the Spanish Football League.
Benzema had missed 3 matches for his team in the “La Liga”, in addition to two matches for France in the European Nations League due to his injury.
The French star was injured in the “Merengue” match once morest Celtic in the Champions League group stage matches.
Benzema had returned to training with his colleagues a few days ago, following recovering from the injury.
Spanish newspapers quoted Ancelotti as saying in the pre-match press conference: “Karim Benzema is in very good condition, he will start the match. His physical condition is great, and he will play. He did not score goals in the last matches because he did not play. He trained well.”
He added: “Benzema as we always know him, we will see following this period during which he did not play if we will see his usual personality as a great player.”
