Rome, October 1st / WAM / Milan and Rome regained the tone of victories in the Italian Football League, with the first victory over its host Empoli 3-1 and the second at its host Inter Milan 2-1 today, Saturday, in the eighth round of the competition, which also witnessed today’s victory over Napoli over Torino 3-1.
Milan snatched a late victory 3-1 at its host Empoli, to raise its score to 17 points.
Roma doubled Inter Milan’s stumble in the competition this season by winning it 2-1 to be Inter’s fourth defeat, compared to 4 victories in the current season of the competition, the third defeat in the last 4 matches in the local league.
Roma raised its score to 16 points, and Inter Milan’s balance froze at 12 points.
Napoli strengthened its lead in the competition table by defeating Torino 3-1 to raise its score to 20 points, following achieving its fourth consecutive victory in the competition, and maintaining its unbeaten record in the competition this season.
