The Syrian artist Sarah Zakaria explained for the first time the story of the word “Sexismo”, which she was famous for in her famous song “We will marry in secret”, which sparked widespread controversy because of her accusation of sexual innuendo.
During her stay as a guest on the “Show the Story” program with the Lebanese journalist Rabia Al-Zayat, Zakaria confirmed that the word did not carry any sexual overtones, and that the word was taken from an area in southern Lebanon called “Al-Saxakieh.”
Zakaria added that she distorted the word “excuse me” in the English language into “sexism” as a result of her weakness in pronouncing the English language.
