In the 14th National Conference of Continuity of Health Services, the Mexican Social Security Institute (IMSS) carried out nearly 150 thousand actions between surgeries, consultations, detections and transplants, in order to increase the access to health care.

In the 35 Organs of Decentralized Administrative Operation (OOAD) and 25 High Specialty Medical Units (UMAE), from September 23 to 25, 71 thousand 338 family medicine consultations were carried out, 24 thousand 10 specialty consultations, 2 thousand 720 surgeries and 52 thousand 310 detections of chronic degenerative diseases.

Regarding surgical specialtiesthose with the highest demand during the day were: General Surgery y oncology, gynecology, neurosurgery, traumatology and orthopedics, and ophthalmology.

While the outpatient specialties most required are: anesthesiology, surgery, gynecologyinternal medicine, ophthalmology, pediatrics, and traumatology and orthopedics.

In addition, they were made 18 total transplantsof these 12 were kidney, four cornea, one hematopoietic cell y one of liver; Nine cadaveric donations were made, of which two were multiorgan at the UMAE Specialty Hospital of the XXI Century National Medical Center and at the Traumatology and Orthopedics Hospital No. 21 Monterrey.

Also seven tissue donations in the hospital of Veracruz Specialties; cardiology hospital No. 34, Monterrey, Nuevo León; General Hospital of Zone No. 3 of Mazatlan, Sinaloa; the regional general hospital No. 1 of Orizaba, Veracruz; and No. 6 city Madero; in total they procured four kidneys, a liver y 16 corneas.

In the OOAD Durango the highest percentage of specialty consultations awarded were from gynecology, internal Medicine, traumatology y orthopedicssurgery and physical medicine and rehabilitation.

In Michoacan intensify the chronic disease screening activities and promotion of the prevention of Pregnancy in Adolescence, detection of cervical cancer and of breast cancer by mammograms.

In the OOAD Sinaloa COVID-19 vaccination support actions were carried out at points defined by the Roadrunner Brigade. In family medicine activities, they highlighted family planning activities with the performance of 37 vasectomy procedures

At the specialty hospital La Raza National Medical CenterThey were made 35 general surgery surgeries and reconstructive, neurosurgery, coloproctology, urology and transplant unit; in external consultation, 245 consultations were provided in the specialties with greater deferral and in diagnostic aids conducted 226 studies and/or nuclear medicine procedures, imaging, hemodynamics, pacemakers and electrophysiology.
