Nigerian striker Junior Ajay, a player from Smouha, is undergoing surgery shortly in a hospital in Alexandria, following he was injured in one of the Alexandria team’s friendly matches.
Omar Al-Ghunaimi, Vice President of Smouha Club, announced on his personal page that the Nigerian player, Ajay, had a fracture in the man’s “stubble”, pointing out that the player would be placed in a plaster cast following x-rays proved his injury.
And the team doctor, Ahmed Ramadan, revealed that the period of his absence from the stadiums will not be less than two and a half months, that is, approximately 75 days, between putting his foot in plaster and qualifying to return to matches.
Ajay suffered a severe injury during his team’s match, which was held yesterday evening, Thursday, in front of the channel at Smouha stadiums, as part of the Alexandria team’s preparations for the Premier League championship, which will start in mid-October.
The Nigerian player, who previously represented Al-Ahly club, was transferred to a hospital near Smouha by an ambulance, in order to undergo x-rays and tests to determine the extent of his injury.
