A psychiatrist reveals that Ronaldo resorted to him after suffering from depression

Ronaldo was the talk of the hour during this year’s summer transfer season, when speculation spread regarding his future at Old Trafford, and reports emerged of his desire to leave.

And the speculation surrounding Ronaldo’s future with the Red Devils continued throughout the summer, until the transfer period ended without his departure and without any club making an offer to join him.

The talk regarding Ronaldo did not stop there, as his level declined this season, and coach Eric Ten Hag did not resort to relying on him mainly in most of the matches.

Jordan Petersen, a guest on the Piers Morgan program, spoke regarding his visit to Cristiano Ronaldo in England regarding two weeks ago.

“He had some problems in his life a few months ago, and a friend of his sent him some of my videos and said he had seen them, then he read one of my books and found it useful, and he wanted to talk to me,” Petersen said in comments published by the Spanish newspaper “Marca”.

He added, “I went to his house and we talked for regarding two hours, he showed me all his equipment to stay in good shape, we talked regarding his companies, we mostly talked regarding what he wants in the future and some of the obstacles he faces.”

After the exchange and these discoveries, Cristiano Ronaldo was confirmed to have depression and decided to seek professional help.

He concluded: “It must be difficult for one of the greatest footballers who have ever lived to go through this moment of uncertainty. I hope he will be back to his best as we approach the FIFA World Cup in Qatar.”
