Stress Level Zero today launches the latest game in the experimental physics series, the virtual reality game Bonelab.

The makers of its previous title, Boneworks, are back with simulated gameplay and physical interactions. One of the most notable features of Bonelab is that it can be modified. The new title will debut on the Meta Quest 2 and other PC virtual reality headsets.

According to the company, the first section of the game allows you to quickly work through basic concepts and combat before entering the main lab environment as you unlock options. From the lab, players can experience different levels to play and explore. After playing at least three levels, players can solve the crane puzzle before they find their way to the third part of the game.

The final sequence of levels may take some time and introduce various new concepts. Players can then return to a physics sandbox filled with unlockable objects.

the origin

Bonelab requires creative elimination of skeletons and zombies.

Bonelab’s multi-layered narrative fits well with Boneworks’ narrative. Stress Level Zero Hover Junkers was created in 2016, so it might be familiar to early VR fans.

Boneworks originally appeared in 2019. The title has been awarded Steam’s Best of VR Platinum in 2019 and every year since.

The title represents the ongoing evolution of Stress Level Zero’s Marrow1 Virtual Reality Physics Foundation, which was originally developed for Boneworks. By extending and sharpening the mechanics, Bonnelab says it takes the simulation even further by providing smooth transitions between avatars and vehicles and improved physical tuning.

The basic idea is to explore a mysterious laboratory full of weapons, enemies, challenges and secrets. You must escape from your reality and avoid the death penalty from the outcast. You can also explore user generated levels.

You must find your way to a hidden underground research facility deep in the city of MythOS. Players will face a series of challenging trials and discoveries throughout their adventure. Using a variety of diverse physical, melee, and exotic weapons, players must engage enemies and solve puzzles across the arsenal. Importing custom avatars allows you to further experiment with the player’s gameplay by providing identical changes in physics stats.

In parallel, sales of next-generation virtual reality game consoles are also progressing smoothly. Last year, Oculus alone saw Microsoft sell more VR headsets than Xbox. According to market research firm IDC, overall sales of VR devices are expected to grow over 92% year-over-year in 2021, with annual shipments expected to reach 50 million units by 2026. Due to parts shortages, the price of the Meta Quest 2 headset has increased by 100 percent. dollars this fall.
