I wrote – Manal El-Gioshy:

The Alexandria International Theater Festival, in its 12th session, honored a number of artists, including the artist Badriya Tolba, the artist Yasser Megahed, the director Sobhi Youssef, the writer Maher Sherif, during the closing ceremony of the festival, which was held this evening at the Anfoushi Culture Palace theater.

The artist Badriya Tolba cried hard during her honor and said that she greatly missed the artist Samir Ghanem, who bears this session of the festival his name and dedicated the honor to the artist Saeed Saleh, and said that this was the least response to those who underestimated the art of Saeed Saleh.

The 12th Alexandria International Theater Festival was held under the auspices of the Minister of Culture, Dr. Nevin Al-Kilani, from September 23 to 29, and the festival was led by the founder and honorary president of the festival, Dr. Gamal Yaqout, and the festival directors, artist Ahmed Samir and artist Islam Wassouf, and the festival’s president, artist Ibrahim Al-Furn.

The performances of the 12th edition of the festival were presented on theaters (Bibliotheca Alexandrina – Lycee El Horreya – Freedom Center for Creativity – Jesuit Cultural Center – Anfoushi Culture Palace).
