Last night we witnessed a new virtual launch of Lenovo in Latin America and in person in Chile. At this event, the company presented its new Lenovo Tab P12 Pro tablets and the second generation Tab P11 and P11 Pro series.
The goal of these devices is to deliver a combination of productivity and entertainment on the same device. Without further ado, let’s take a closer look at the tablets.
Lenovo Tab P12 Pro
This is the current flagship of the company in terms of tablets. And to its credit it has super interesting features that compete side by side with other high-end devices. Starting for your weight of 565 grams and a thickness of only 5.63 millimeters.
One of the first attributes we see in the tablet is its 12.6-inch AMOLED screen with WQXGA resolution. Likewise, it has HDR10+ support and Dolby Visionlike it has a refresh rate of 120 Hz.
If we talk regarding performance, the Tab P12 Pro has a SoC Qualcomm Snapdragon 8708 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage. It also has the WiFi 6 connectivity, 5G connection depending on the versionand in terms of sound has 4 JBL compatible speakers Dolby Atmos.
In terms of autonomy, the team has a 10,200mAh battery, allowing you to enjoy more than 10 hours of use. It is also compatible with fast charge up to 45Wbut in the box of the tablet it comes from the factory with a 30 W charger.
When buying the equipment in Chile, all versions have keyboard, and Lenovo Precision Pen 3 digital pen. This pen recognizes up to 4096 levels of pressure, has a battery with wireless charging and magnets to attach to the device.
On the software side tablet includes Android 12L and Lenovo Freestyle software to use the device as a second touch screen on Windows 10 or 11 computers.
Lenovo Tab P11 and P11 Pro second generation
Recently presented at IFA 2022, Lenovo brings us the second generation of its successful Tab P11 and P11 Pro series. This new generation brings improvements in the screen, performance and much more.
The Tab P11 (regular version) has a 11.5-inch LCD screen, with FHD resolution and a refresh rate of 120 Hz.
With a chipset MediaTek G99 and 6 GB of RAM, this model increases the process performance by 50% compared to its predecessor. It also improves its connectivity by being Wi-Fi 6 compatible and offers optional accessories including keyboard, Precision Pen 2 stylusthe Smart Charging Station 2, or the Lenovo Folio Case with built-in kickstand.
On the other hand, Lenovo Tab P11 Pro 2nd generation includes a 11.2-inch OLED-type screen with support for Dolby Vision and HDR10+. It features a screen brightness of 600 nits and a wide color gamut, with support for 100% of the DCI-P3 gamut. Also It has a refresh rate of 120 Hz.
If we talk regarding the performance of the Pro version, this tablet incorporates a SoC MediaTek Kompanio 1300T with eight-core CPU, accompanied by 8 GB of RAM. It also has Wifi 6, Bluetooth 5.2 and a USB Type C port for data and charging a battery that delivers up to 14 hours of autonomy.
Like the standard model, includes a premium audio system with four speakers and Dolby Atmos. Also, the second generation P11 Pro includes a detachable keyboard with a trackpad Incorporated.
And for added productivity Lenovo offers, for those who prefer to use styluses, the Precision Pen 3 stylus that can magnetically attach to the device for wireless charging and storage.
Both devices come with Android 12L out of the box.and the company promises 2 years of major updates (Android 14) and 3 years of security.
Availability and prices
In the case of the flagship of the brand’s tablets (the Tab P 12 Pro), it is now available for sale on the Lenovo website. They are suggested price is CLP 799,990 and it can also be found in different sales channels such as retail.
Finally, the second generation Lenovo Tab P11 Pro is also on sale on the Lenovo website still price of CLP 599,990. The regular version of the Tab P11 will arrive in the first quarter of 2023 at a price that has not yet been revealed.
