Brest said, in a statement, that, at the request of the player Youssef Blaili, he had reached an agreement with the club to terminate the contract, which ran until June 30, 2023, wishing him “good luck” in his football career.
The club’s sporting director, Gregory Lorenzi, said: “Youssef did not feel comfortable being separated from his family. Therefore, it was difficult for him to continue on this path. In the interest of both the player and the team, we agreed to terminate the contract.”
