On the 28th (local time), foreign media reported that Microsoft (MS) plans to end the ‘SwiftKey’ service for iOS on the 5th of next month.
Accordingly, ‘Swift Key’ will be deleted from the App Store as well as support ends. Microsoft did not say why the SwiftKey service for iOS was shutting down.
A Microsoft official said, “We will continue to support support for the Android version of SwiftKey and the underlying technology that drives the Windows touch keyboard.”
SwiftKey is a keyboard app that enables faster typing on smartphones and tablets through functions such as sentences, word suggestions, and predictive spelling.
Microsoft acquired Swiftkey in 2016 for $250 million.
