The complainants, who prefer to remain anonymous to avoid further trouble with Dominick Melnitzky, denounce the candidate’s aggressive and inappropriate behavior and claim to have contacted the police, who intervened.

Young drivers circulated until very recently in front of the residence of the candidate to go and join a friend who lives in the same neighborhood on a regular basis, and Mr. Melnitzky would have complained in particular regarding the noise and the speed of their cars.

To express his dissatisfaction, the conservative candidate would have decided to follow the young motorists with his vehicle.

This scenario would have repeated itself a few times over the past few weeks and over long distances.

“It borders on intimidation,” judged one of the drivers who gave us a telephone interview.

The drivers dispute Mr. Melnitzky’s version.

“Supposedly we were going too fast, and making too much noise, while driving the limits, and then we hardly weighed on the accelerator”, explains one of them.

TVA Nouvelles wanted to get Dominick Melnitzky’s version of the facts, but the latter was content to say that everything was settled before ending the call.

However, according to the young drivers concerned and their parents, on the contrary, nothing is settled. Moreover, they no longer drive past the candidate’s residence because they are afraid of him.

They are considering the filing of police complaints once morest the candidate.
