Christian Quesada, the former champion of the program “Les 12 Coups de midi” was placed in detention in the Perpignan penitentiary center because he allegedly did not respect some of the obligations associated with his parole, explains the daily Midi Libre.
The 58-year-old man was known to the public for having won 809,392 euros and 200,000 euros in gifts thanks to his 192 victories at the “12 Coups de midi”, the television game show presented by Jean-Luc Reichmann. But a few months later, the man is overtaken by various complaints accusing him of pedophilia as well as evidence of child pornography. He had thus been sentenced to three years in prison in 2020 for “corruption of minors”, possession and dissemination of child pornography images.
After obtaining a conditional release in 2021, Christian Quesada was forced to respect a socio-judicial follow-up involving in particular a ban on dating minors. Having failed to comply with this obligation, the sentencing judge decided to place him in detention once more.
For the moment, the investigation does not reveal any new offense.
