Dubai, United Arab Emirates (CNN) – Activists on social media circulated a report published by “Bloomberg” in which it dealt with world events and what it described as “awakening the sleeping giant,” or “awakening the sleeping monster,” according to what activists have translated, which provoked an interaction.
In its report, Bloomberg said, “Saudi Arabia appears to be leaving behind the tide of negative coverage sparked by the murder of Jamal Khashoggi since 2018. Once once more, the kingdom is once once more enthusiastically welcomed into a polite and strong society, and it is no longer reprehensible to seek Saudi investments or accept their interests.
“Saudi Arabia’s week of victories included mediating a prisoner exchange between Ukraine and Russia, a high-level summit on the sidelines of the United Nations General Assembly, a pomp of the country’s National Day, hosting the German chancellor and discussing energy supplies with senior White House officials.”
And the newspaper continued: “The kingdom is able to draw attention once once more to the ambitions of Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman to redefine the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and his goals to build the largest sovereign wealth fund in the world and raise the kingdom from the Group of Twenty to the most distinguished G7 countries that represent the largest economies… It is A task often described as waking up a sleeping giant. Yet it happens even as human rights reforms remain off the agenda.”
