Al-Marsad newspaper: The Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority said – in a reminder to it – that all sexual objects are prohibited from being imported, stressing that if they are imported, they will be confiscated, and a report of seizure of prohibited items is issued with the imposition of a fine on the importer.
She explained that the fine varies according to the seized quantity and items, in response to a question by one of the importers, through the Authority’s Ask Zakat, Tax and Customs account: “The prohibited substance is classified as sex toys, and it was confiscated and is not listed on the Prohibited or Restricted Items page on the Customs page… the reason?”.
Earlier, the authority revealed that travelers coming to or departing from the Kingdom must disclose the amounts they carry if their value reaches or exceeds 60,000 riyals, or more, and the equivalent in money, jewelry or precious metals.
She added that it is necessary to disclose and fill out the declaration form for travelers when entering or leaving the country when carrying an amount of 60,000 riyals or more, and the equivalent in money, jewelry or precious metals.
