Indian women’s cricket team wicketkeeper Tania Bhatia said that her bag was stolen from her room in the hotel where she stayed on England tour. The player informed regarding this through his Twitter handle and criticized the security provided by the England Cricket Board.
“I feel disappointed in the management of Marriott Hotel in London. Someone entered my room and stole a bag containing money, cards, watches and jewellery. Feels very insecure. We hope to investigate and resolve this issue as soon as possible. How bad is the security provided by England Cricket Board’s hotel partners.’- Tania wrote on Twitter.
2/2 Hoping for a quick investigation and resolution of this matter. Such lack of security at @ECB_cricket‘s preferred hotel partner is astounding. Hope they will take cognisance as well.@Marriott @BCCIWomen @BCCI
