The singer and now actor, Silvestre Dangond, provides unpublished details of his leading role in the production ‘Leandro Díaz’ through the documentary: ‘Silvestre, los ojos de Leandro’. He confesses that the subject of interpretation was a complex task, since he was not used to working in that way. The fact that the project was postponed due to the pandemic issue allowed it to be better prepared.
“Something changed in my voice, now I feel like I sing differently”, admits the guajiro.
As we have shown with the passing of the chapters, according to Silvestre’s words, Leandro’s rejection was confirmed as his source of inspiration. He confesses that one of the things he likes to do the most is to keep his eyes closed, since he enters Leandro’s world immediately.
The relationship with the rest of the classmates, among other things
Dangond tries to make the relationship with his co-star, Laura de León, the same as in the soap opera.
Likewise, he admires the two directors of the production, since he has learned a lot from both of them through their experience.
The clothing, the setting, as well as the relationship with extras, have been fundamental parts of the project that Silvestre is a part of. Also, he confesses that he tries to keep his mental balance due to the long hours of filming.
Of course, makeup plays a fundamental role, since each of the characters has different stages of their lives.
According to Dangond’s words, Pajales is the center of the story: the place where he grew up, and at the same time, he came out of the darkness in which he was immersed due to the mistreatment of his family. Let us remember that this place was set up in one of the Canal RCN studios, and was subjected to all kinds of transformations such as floods and destruction.
Finally, the interpreter of ‘Dile’ gives a message to his audience regarding how he perceives his character, which captivates Colombians every night.
