Compulsory Testing|Three people in Block 12 of Regent Garden were fined 10,000 yuan for not testing

Block 12, Regent Gardens, Kowloon Bay was included in the mandatory testing notice last Tuesday (20th), requiring specified persons to undergo testing in the following two days. Three days following the expiry of the time limit, the government raided the building this morning (21st) and found that three people had not been tested on time. They have been issued a compulsory test order and a fixed penalty notice of $10,000.

The Constitutional and Mainland Affairs Bureau, together with the Sau Mau Ping Police District and the Department of Health, checked the test certificates of regarding 269 persons tested at the entrances and exits of the building from regarding 8 am to 11 am, and found that 3 persons did not comply with the mandatory testing notice.

The government emphasized that anyone who fails to comply with the mandatory testing announcement can be fined 10,000 yuan and receive a compulsory testing order requiring a test within a specified period. Violators can be fined 50,000 yuan and imprisoned for 6 months.
