They identified six new cases and suspect another 19.
Since Ugandan health authorities declared a new Ebola outbreak on Tuesday, 11 deaths associated with the disease have been recorded in the country.
Six new infections have been confirmed and it is suspected that another 19 people might be infected with the virus, the Ministry of Health detailed this Friday.
According to experts, the current outbreak has been attributed to a relatively rare Sudanese strain of the virus.
It is estimated that the first infections might have occurred earlier this month in a small town in the west of the country.
