Maguire: I don’t care what they say about me.. and United win

Manchester United and England defender Harry Maguire has confirmed that he does not care what is said regarding him in the media, indicating that he is ready to play at any time with the team.

Maguire was subjected to many criticisms recently following joining the England national team, although he had not played with Manchester United for six weeks, in light of the lack of reliance on him by coach Tin Hag.

“I am fine, ready to play, and I feel in great physical shape,” Maguire said in comments following England’s loss to Italy in the European Nations League, in statements via “talkSPORT”.

He added, “I don’t know what is being said in the media, I don’t really read regarding it and I’m not interested.”

“I don’t focus with anyone else and what people are saying regarding me, I think if people can write a story regarding me, I’m the captain of Manchester United, that’s big news.”

He continued, “It is clear that the coach (Eric Ten Hag) decided to leave me out of the squad, and the team has since been winning.”

“I work hard in training to make sure that I’m ready when the opportunity arises, that’s all I can do to try to help the team.”
