Dr. Heba Kotb, a consultant in marital relations and sexual health, said that one of the most disturbing things in married life is the wife’s refusal to have sexual intercourse during pregnancy, because of her fear of the fetus being established, in the desire for its stability in the womb, which causes many problems between husbands. .

However, the marital relations and sexual health consultant clarified that pregnancy is divided into three stages, represented as follows:

The first stage: In the first 3 months, there is no fear for the pregnant woman to engage in marital relationship, unless the specialist confirms that there is a problem that hinders sexual intercourse, such as the placenta being lower than the normal rate, as a result of semen causing contractions in the uterus, which causes In bleeding during pregnancy, or loss of the fetus.

The second stage: It is the stage of the fourth, fifth and sixth months, and this stage, as long as the pregnancy is good, the wife can practice intimacy any number of times, as long as there are no medical risks to the fetus.

The last stage: it is divided into two parts, the first of which is the seventh and eighth month. uterus, which helps facilitate the birth process.
