Feeding young children: improving nutrient intake to promote healthy growth

In 2022, 6.3 million children will suffer from acute malnutrition in six countries of the Sahel (Burkina Faso, Mali, Mauritania, Niger, Chad and Senegal). In particular, the food imbalance and the difficulties of access to foods rich in essential nutrients for the youngest.

What needs to be changed in the diet of young children (6 to 24 months) to improve nutrient intake and promote good physical and intellectual growth? How can you be sure that your child receives the necessary food intake?
