Today, Friday, the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) expressed its deep condolences for the victims west of the refugee boat off the Syrian coast.
In its statement, the movement expressed its sincere condolences and sympathy to all of our Palestinian people, especially our people in the Nahr al-Bared and Shatila camps in Lebanon, to the Lebanese and Syrian brotherly peoples, and to the families of the victims of the boat accident, which sank off the coast of the Syrian city of Tartus, and left a number of victims and injured among our Palestinian people. And from our Lebanese and Syrian brothers.
We ask God Almighty to have mercy and forgiveness on the victims, to grant the injured a speedy recovery, and to inspire their families with patience and consolation, and that efforts to rescue the drowned and rescue the injured are crowned with success, and to protect our people and refugee children in the Lebanese camps and the two brotherly Lebanese and Syrian peoples from all Hate and bad.”
It is noteworthy that the Lebanese Minister of Transport announced that the number of victims of the sinking of an asylum-seeking boat off the Syrian coast has risen to 75.
