Sarah, a traveler, was stunned by what she was served on a Ryanair plane. The Briton ordered a £5.20 vegetarian meal on a flight from Vienna to Bristol in early September. And she was not satisfied with the meal: “A sad and gray porridge”, she commented on Twitter.
On the menu, the meal looked appetizing. It was a lasagna with melted cheese and seasoned vegetables but the dish he was served was nothing like the picture on the menu. “You should reconsider your choice of veggie lasagna, the first served was lukewarm and runny so I sent it back,” she wrote. “The second served to me was warmer but still soggy, nothing like the picture on the menu. It was disgusting and lukewarm”.
The meal received a PETA Travel Award in 2019. “I know Ryanair is a low cost airline, but can’t they offer a vegetarian alternative? asks the traveler on Twitter.
