Disclosure of the reason for not holding a funeral for the late artist Hisham Selim

Sadness prevailed in the Egyptian and Arab artistic community following the departure of the artist Hisham Selim, who passed away, Thursday, at the age of 64, following a long struggle with cancer.

A mourning pavilion will not be held for the late artist, as the artist, Nihal Anbar, revealed that the late recommended not to hold a funeral for him, and said: “He recommended that he will not receive condolences, and his family refuses to implement his will.” According to the “Masrawy” website.

A number of Egyptian and Arab artists mourned the late artist, where the artist Yousra expressed her shock at the departure of Hisham Selim, and said, “My brother and friend of my life and the bond and my brother-in-law Khaled Saleh Selim .. May God give us patience for all of you.”

And the late artist, born in 1958, is the son of Saleh Selim, the former president of Al-Ahly Club, and he began his artistic career early with small roles.

During his artistic career, Hisham Selim presented important works in cinema, theater and television, including: “Layali El Helmiya,” “Mohamed Ali Street,” “Ya Donia, my Grammy,” “Forgery of Official Papers,” “Don’t Ask Me Who I Am,” “Crystal,” “Aragoz”.
