Since Wednesday, September 21, the social and cultural center of the Pays Ségali has welcomed the Tarn artist collective La Sotie, to the village hall of Tayac, to carry out a work of (re)creation of the show. “A hundred panties and without papers”. A work that will be presented in preview on Sunday, September 25, at 3 p.m., at the village hall of Tayac (free entry).
This show is regarding school and its little stories that tell the Big Story. The writing of Sylvain Levey, the author of the play, is both poetic and committed, it is aimed at today’s children but also at each of the children we once were. With little poetic chronicles and by observing the relationship between clothes and children, this piece launches a pavement in the form of a small manual of civic instruction.
The objective of this time of residence in Tayac is to go back through the text and the staging without distorting the original form of this show which is played in bi-frontal. The arrival of a new actor in the artistic project induces a change of energy and requires a reappropriation of the text. It will therefore be a question of “oiling” the show to prepare for the next performances. The CSCPS invites the public to sharpen their critical spirit and share their feelings at the end of the session with the artists.
It should be noted that this residence was set up with the precious support of volunteers from the YaQua association and Centrès company who will welcome the collective at the associative café “Le Miramont” during this week of residence.
