In Jalisco, where the earthquake was also felt, the state Civil Protection team reported that up to now there is no report of damages due to this movement. And he asked citizens to remember to call 911 in case of emergencies.
For his part in Michoacanthe state government reported that, through Civil Protection, “we are already monitoring the different regions of the state, following the 6.5 earthquake with an epicenter 81 km south of Coalcomán. The event was noticeable throughout the state. We ask for extreme precautions and communicate to the 911 to report any incident.”
