In the theaters, ensembles are currently being put together in a much more mixed way than was previously the case – in order to increase diversity and thus appeal to new audiences. The Burgtheater played a pioneering role here and also made decisive steps under Martin Kušej. The National Theater is now cooperating with the Black Voices action alliance, which launched the current anti-racism referendum.
