Health specialties accredit the psychiatry program at Erada Complex in Riyadh

The Saudi Commission for Health Specialties renewed its recognition of the general psychiatry program at Irada and Mental Health Complex in Riyadh for the next 4 years, starting on October 1, 2022 and ending on September 30, 2026 AD. The Authority increased the maximum capacity of the program by 100%, bringing the number of seats allocated to it to 32.

The Executive Director of the complex, Dr. Muhammad bin Mashouf Al-Qahtani, valued the confidence of the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties in the complex, the training programs provided in the complex, the expert human cadres and the resources it contains, noting that the program is one of the training programs approved in the complex by the commission, which includes a diploma in clinical pharmacy, a program Subspecialty in addiction psychiatry.

He explained that the complex has obtained “institutional accreditation”, which is the highest accreditation granted by the authority to health facilities in the field of mental health, expressing his pride in the efforts made by specialists in the complex to develop psychiatry, addiction medicine and other mental health services.

Dr. Muhammad Al-Qahtani pointed out that the complex is one of the medical edifices specialized in the field of mental health, which has taken upon itself the development of health services in this specialty through its various programs, development and improvement projects, and its experiences that benefit those belonging to this specialty, from authorities and individuals, locally and regionally.
