Eros Ramazzotti, famous Italian singer, released the new song “Virgen de Guadalupe”, a theme regarding the Patron Saint of Mexico and Empress of America.

“Virgen de Guadalupe” is part of the new album “Latido Infinito”by Eros Ramazzotti, author of hits such as “Another like you”, “The most beautiful thing”, “Things in life” and “If a couple of songs were enough”.

On the new album, Eros Ramazzotti sings songs like “Ama”, “Infinite Heartbeat”, “Children of the Earth”, and “Soy”, a song in which he has the collaboration of the Spanish Alejandro Sanz, and which is the promotional single of the new album.

The Virgin of Guadalupe appeared to Saint Juan Diego in December 1531 on the Cerro del Tepeyac in Mexico City, where the Basilica of Guadalupe is currently located, a place of pilgrimage for millions of people who come from all over the world.

Part of the lyrics of “Virgen de Guadalupe” reads like this:

The starry Night
Carry until dawn
And don’t be afraid if your faith shows our
Lady of Guadalupe
The brunette that carries the sun and that the moon is treading
The sky lights up, you pray while dancing
Lady of Guadalupe
It rains the love that calms the pain while you bless sinners
In every smile your name hides.
(…)
I think back to memories so vivid
I feel a chill once more
Because it’s natural not to feel ashamed
For loving what gives us hope.
