Bengaluru: The fiancee and 3 friends of a doctor who had circulated nude pictures on social media were arrested. A native of Chennai, Dr. Architect Pratibha (27) from Bengaluru along with colleagues Gautam, Sushil and Surya were arrested in connection with the murder of N. Vikas (27).
Vikas, who studied MBBS in Ukraine, came to Bengaluru a year ago for medical council screening test training. After falling in love with Pratibha, the two started living together. The family confirmed the marriage verbally.
Meanwhile, Pratibha’s nude pictures were circulated through a fake Instagram account. Pratibha’s statement is that when questioned, the reply was ‘just kidding’ and unable to bear the humiliation, he was beaten with an iron rod with the help of his friends. He died on the 14th while undergoing treatment.
Police said that there was an argument with his friends and Vikas was beaten unconscious and Pratibha called his brother.
