Thinking of getting into streaming on Twitch or starting a new podcast? The Snowball Ice microphone might be a good choice for you. Here is my review.

The Blue Snowball Ice microphone from the Logitech for Creators line comes in a package that contains the microphone, its tripod stand, a USB cable and simple instructions.
The installation is super simple and really plug and play with the USB cable. Without having to install anything, I used the Snowball Ice for voice recording, video conferencing, etc.
Personally, I appreciate its spherical design and its small tripod which looks good on my desk.
That said, it is possible to download the Blue software from Bluemic.com to access microphone settings and firmware update.
The available parameters remain rather restricted; you can choose the recording quality and the microphone gain level.
In terms of quality, you get what you pay for. At $69.99, the Blue Snowball Ice is an entry-level microphone. That said, it “does the job” and is a good choice for someone who wants to equip themselves minimally without breaking the bank.
If you want to hear a sample recording, I recorded my voice with the Blue Snowball for my Hundred Days game video review which you can listen to below:
Logitech’s Blue Snowball Ice microphone is available on Amazon for $69.99.
