GeForce RTX 4090 Founders Edition, a render appears a few hours before its announcement

In a few hours, Nvidia’s “GeForce Beyond” event will begin. The brand’s big boss, Jensen Huang, will take center stage at the GTC. It is expected the official announcement of the next generation of GeForce RTX series graphics cards, the GeForce RTX 40 series “Ada lovelace”.

This new family of solutions for gamers will consist of several references. There are plans for custom cards and versions signed Nvidia known for a few years under the name of Founders Edition.

It is precisely one of its references that has just made its appearance. We have a first render of the showcase graphics card, the new performance benchmark, the GeForce RTX 4090 Founders Edition.

At first glance, the map does not offer any major design changes. It retains an imposing dual-flow heatsink introduced with the RTX 30 series Founders Edition. We have a fan on one side of the card that draws in cooler air to propel it through thin aluminum fins and a second unit that takes care of its exhaust.

The card is impressive since its installation requires three expansion slots. It is also equipped with larger fans than those of the RTX 4090 Founders Editions.

This point was already underlined when a photo of a GeForce RTX 4080 Founders Edition was published a few weeks ago.

The GeForce RTX 4090 is rumored to feature an AD102 GPU bringing to life 16,384 CUDA cores and accompanied by 24GB of GDDR6X, all with a default TDP of 450W. This flagship model will be announced alongside the RTX 4080 16GB and 12GB cards built around the AD103 and AD104 GPUs.

At the moment we have no information on prices and release date.
