Libya’s oil production reached one million and 189 thousand barrels

The Libyan Oil Corporation announced that the production of crude oil amounted to one million and 189 thousand barrels during the past 24 hours.

And it explained in a statement that the production of condensate amounted to 51,000 barrels.

Since last April 17, the oil sector in Libya has witnessed a wave of closures of oil fields and ports by armed groups in the south, center, southwest and east, and now many fields are back to work once more.

The corporation confirmed that the total domestic consumption of natural gas amounted to one billion and 136 million cubic feet during the past 24 hours.

The National Oil Corporation indicated that the General Electricity Company consumed 928 million cubic feet, while the National Oil Corporation consumed 119 million cubic feet, the iron and steel complex and other small factories consumed 60 million cubic feet, and the cement plant consumed 29 million cubic feet.
