According to BILD information, the body of a man lay in a pool of blood and had numerous knife wounds.
The public prosecutor’s office in Hanau and the criminal police in Gelnhausen are investigating on suspicion of a homicide.
According to the investigators, a walker was walking around 10:30 a.m. on Saturday (September 17, 2022) in the “An der Burgmühle” area.
Suddenly he saw blood in front of him on the gravel path. When he got closer and looked more closely, he saw immediately: here is a person lying in a pool of blood. Any help came too late for the man, he was dead and had apparently been lying there for quite some time.

Forensics began their work. A police dog was also used. With the help of the police helicopter, the officials took pictures of the scene from the air. The Technical Relief Agency and the Gelnhausen fire brigade supported the work of the police.
According to BILD information, the dead man is said to be Mohammad A. (25).
