The poor condition of the streets of Ciudad Guayana has become a calamity for drivers when traveling with their vehicles, as they must drive with great caution so as not to fall into a hole.

Despite the asphalting plan promoted by the State Governor’s Office and the Mayor’s Office of Caroní, this has been implemented in the main avenues of the city, but not in several secondary streets or within communities.

In Puerto Ordaz, there are several roads that are in very poor condition, for example, on Churum Meru street, between the CVG Monument square and the Ciudad Alta Vista II Shopping Center, there are several drivers who have complained regarding the hole that is there, it is called the “rubber eater” due to the damage it has caused.

Others that are invaded by craters are: Tocoma, Ventuari, Cuchivero, Nekuima; Guasipati, Tumeremo, among others.

Saint Felix

Between Guayana avenue and Gilij road is the street damaged by multiple holes, this is one of the entrances to the Simón Bolívar sector (UD 102) in San Félix.

The same thing happens on Antonio de Berríos avenue and Pemón street at the height of the Manoa urbanization.

Other avenues such as Caribe, Gumilla, Centurión and Cisneros also present this fault, in which the people in front of the wheel must be careful to avoid the holes one by one.

Drivers hope that the aforementioned avenues will be included in the Guayana City Plan to Live promoted by the mayor’s office, as well as the one carried out by the governor’s office.
