The Directorate of Health Affairs in Luxor Governorate announced that, with the contribution of the General Administration of Dentistry in the Directorate, daily educational seminars were organized in the health units in the governorate to raise awareness regarding preserving teeth, according to the instructions of Dr. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, Minister of Health and Population, and under the supervision of the Central Dental Administration at the Ministry. And the directives of Dr. Taher Ayoub, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health in Luxor, and Dr. Sahar Abu Al-Wafa Megally, Director General of the Dental Department in the Directorate.
Dr. Taher Ayoub, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health in Luxor Governorate, said, in a press statement, that dentists held daily educational seminars in health units at the governorate level, in order to increase health awareness of those visiting health units in everything related to maintaining oral and dental health, and ways to prevent infections. Gums, calcareous deposits, the importance of conservative treatment for teeth, proper nutrition for children and pregnant women to maintain healthy teeth, and other preventive instructions to help the public health of Luxor citizens.
In the same context, Dr. Al-Taher Ayoub, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health in Luxor Governorate, led a visit to the Fever, Digestive and Liver Hospital, following the hospital contracted with the General Authority for Comprehensive Health Insurance, in order to provide services from the hospital to health insurance beneficiaries in Luxor. He was received by the Undersecretary of Luxor Health, Dr. Mohamed Mohamed Al-Ramli, director of the hospital, during which he attended part of the scientific day that the hospital continues to organize, and praised the idea and effort, then inspected the endoscopy department under construction and directed the need to open the department as soon as possible to serve the people of Luxor, and he inspected the intensive care and thanked the efforts of doctors and nurses, Then he went to the kitchen, stores and restaurant, and at the end of the visit, he thanked the hospital leadership and all the staff for their efforts in serving patients.
