DOHA, Sept. 18 (Xinhua) — Chinese electronics and home appliances company Hisense on Sunday opened its first-of-its-kind private store in Qatar, in a strategic move that comes as part of a regional expansion initiative in the Middle East.
Hisense store, which is the official sponsor of the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022, in partnership with Qatar’s favorite store (Fifty One East) was inaugurated in Lagoona Mall in Doha, under the patronage and in the presence of the Chinese Ambassador to Qatar Zhou Jian, Director The company’s management in the Middle East and North Africa or Yang.

For his part, Al-Darwish said that the Chinese ambassador’s sponsorship and attendance on this occasion reflects the interest in pushing the Chinese-Qatari trade relations to the highest levels.
Al-Darwish added that the opening of the Hisense store is a clear indication of the company’s growing growth in the Qatari market to become one of the leading brands in the consumer electronics sector, especially as it is the official sponsor of the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.
