One of the suspects “deliberately” carried out the fraud by claiming to want to give the victim red mercury to use in the field of “rokia” practice, in exchange for a sum of money of approximately 1 million dirhams, according to preliminary information from the DGSN investigation. An assistant to the victim, responsible for handing over the sum of money, was detained and robbed with the involvement and complicity of the other suspects, some of whom usurped functions regulated by law.
The investigation has thus made it possible to determine the involvement in this affair of a person, with a criminal record for fraud, and of two officials, dismissed for years from the police force, in possession of sums of money from this activity. criminal. These defendants are suspected of having benefited from the complicity and participation of the arrested police inspector “in exchange for financial benefits”. The ten suspects were taken into custody.
