With the appointments of Cécile Vasquez and Deborah Binisti, the Lyonnais “Point S” feminizes its management committee

In a traditionally male environment, Cécile Vasquez becomes Purchasing and Key Accounts Director for Viasso, the Point S plant. Déborah Binisti, meanwhile, has been promoted to the post of Development Director for the brand in France.

Point S strengthens its management committee with the arrival of two high-level female executives, instilling parity within the management committee for the first time.

“We are very happy to welcome Cécile Vasquez and Déborah Binisti to the Point S group’s management committee, which now includes four women and three men by my side. Even if they were of course selected for the wealth and quality of their skills and experience, their appointments also bring a certain evolution in an automotive environment that is still too masculine”, welcomes Christophe Rollet, the general manager of the Lyon group.

Cecile Vasquez, The 45-year-old who takes over the management of purchasing and key accounts at Viasso, the Point S plant, has more than twenty years of experience in the automotive sector.

A graduate of the European Business School (ESCP group), she notably worked, at the beginning of her career, at Saint-Gobain Sekurit before evolving for fourteen years in sales and marketing in the followingmarket branch of Valeo.

She was previously key account director for the Autodistribution group, one of the leaders in automotive parts in France and Europe.

She replaces Pascal Gradassi, who has retired.

Deborah Binisti, 43 years old, who now oversees the development department, is a graduate of the Cnam business school.

After starting out in the computer world, she then worked for several years at Michelin, as head of the industrial sector in France and Belgium.

She then worked at BestDrive, Tip and Euromaster before joining Point S in 2021.

Responsible for the development of the brand in the Ile-de-France region for more than a year, she is now entrusted with the responsibility of network development for the whole of France.

“My integration into the management of Point S, which has also achieved gender parity, is a good illustration of how we can progress in our professions in the light vehicle and industrial tire and automotive sectors. The consideration of women is really evolving and this is very good news,” she says.
